O.C. Hospital Settles Patient Dumping Case

Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo said Wednesday that College Hospital in Costa Mesa had agreed to a settlement, an injunction and $1 million fine for what he called "psychiatric patient dumping."

LOS ANGELES - An Orange County hospital under investigation by city prosecutors for dropping a schizophrenic man on Skid Row last year has dumped at least 150 other mentally ill patients in Los Angeles, the probe has found.
