Embattled Judge Fights Misconduct Charges

The attorney for embattled Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Peter McBrien defended his client from charges of misconduct before a judicial discipline panel Wednesday in a bid to save a judge who has stirred controversy before and been the subject of an unsuccessful recall effort.
