Fenwick, Wilson, Goodwin take roles in $1 billion Ebates sale

Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten Inc. tapped Fenwick & West LLP to handle its all-cash acquisition of San Francisco-based retail rebate website Ebates Inc., a deal announced Tuesday.

Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten Inc. tapped Fenwick & West LLP to handle its $1 billion all-cash acquisition of San Francisco-based retail rebate website Ebates Inc., a deal announced Tuesday.


Partners David K. Michaels in Mountain View and Douglas N. Cogen in San Francisco led the Fenwick deal team. Cogen is co-chair of the firm's mergers and acquisitions practice.
