Coalition of Music and Internet Groups Aims to Break Ground

Rutledge - On Jan. 14, the Recording Industry Association of America, the Business Software Alliance and the Computer Systems Policy Project formed a coalition of sorts, announcing a "groundbreaking" deal regarding the music and technology industries' treatment of copyright protection in digital products. The agreement encompasses seven principles that will guide their actions during the term of the 108th Congress.
