PTO Fee Hike Less Onerous Than Feared By Patent Bar
SAN FRANCISCO - The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced plans Tuesday to increase the costs of procuring a patent by an average of 15.5 percent - significantly less than the agency's earlier proposal, which would have more than doubled patent fees.
