Wade , 410 U.S. 113 (1973), decision was announced, The New York Times expressed editorial relief that the U.S. Supreme Court had finally settled the abortion issue in America. Thirty years later, the abortion controversy still rages. As we celebrate Roe 's anniversary, we must recommit ourselves to protecting all women's reproductive freedom.
