Fruit and Vegetable Maker Goes Private

The fruit and vegetable producer, based in Westlake Village, has agreed to be taken private by its chief executive officer, David Murdock. Under the agreement, Murdock will acquire the remaining 76 percent of the company that he and his family don't own.
