Group wins court fight after losing ballot fight
The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association won a victory against the California Legislature in an opinion released Friday by the 3rd District Court of Appeal, which found the Legislature improperly passed a bill bumping up Gov. Jerry Brown's Proposition 30 to first place on the November 2012 ballot.
