Law students learn from alumni attorneys
A hundred attorneys joined in the inaugural program, "Orientation II: The Legal Profession and Your Place in It" at Loyola Law School on Jan. 14 and 15. The program offered first-year students the opportunity to glean expertise in networking, professionalism and other practical skills from seasoned practitioners on Loyola's downtown Los Angeles campus. Alumni from a wide variety of practice areas spoke on panels offering career-planning advice. Following the panels, which included "Network Development" and "Trends and Economics of the Legal Market," students networked with alumni attorneys at a reception.
