Court Sides With World Savings in Property Battle

World Savings Bank has defeated all claims in a suit brought by a homeowner who purchased one of its properties. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charles McCoy Jr. denied the unfair-competition claim May 13, which was brought by the plaintiff under Business & Professions Code Section 17200. DeVillefranche v. World Savings Bank LC057794 (L.A. Super. Ct., judgment May 13, 2003).
