The Jockeying Starts as DA Campaign Gets Under Way

SAN FRANCISCO - Mud and rumor have begun to fly in the early days of the San Francisco district attorney race. Candidate Kamala Harris, a deputy city attorney, on Tuesday denied a tale posted on the influential SFPolifix Internet message board that she will drop out of a three-way contest also featuring incumbent Terence Hallinan and defense lawyer Bill Fazio.
