Engineer and His Family Could Pay Price for Bailing Out Uncle

LOS ANGELES - Faced with the anguished pleas of his ailing grandmother, Nabil Issa did what any concerned grandson would do. The 39-year-old Michigan engineer and father of two agreed to guarantee a $100,000 bond so that an uncle he barely knew could go free while awaiting a federal fraud prosecution in Los Angeles.
