Incorrect Use of Marks Can Become Costly for Owners

Now that my trademark application is on file, can I use the (r) symbol on my packaging and advertisements? Should we use the (r) or TM symbols with every reference to our marks? Is use of the (c) symbol allowed if I don't have a copyright registration? When can I use patent pending?
