MENTOR GRAPHICS BRINGS HOME INNOVEDA FOR CASH

Mentor Graphics Corp. will acquire Innoveda Inc. in a cash deal worth $160 million. The deal was announced April 23. Wilsonville, Ore.'s Mentor Graphics produces and sells software for engineers in the aerospace, telecommunications, personal computer and semiconductor industries. The software is used to design and simulate electronic components, such as circuit boards.
