Prosecutors to Retry Man for Murder

Six months after an appellate court overturned his second-degree murder conviction, Riverside prosecutors said Wednesday they plan to re-try a Palm Springs transient for the 2006 strangling death of former State Bar President Garvin Shallenberger.
