Prop. 16 Gets Ballot OK

A Sacramento County Superior Court judge was not swayed by a group of cities and publicly owned utilities seeking to remove the power proposal from next month's ballot.

A Sacramento Superior Court judge was not swayed by a group of California cities and publicly owned utilities seeking to remove Proposition 16 from next month's ballot, ruling that they did not sufficiently prove the claim that the ballot initiative included false and misleading language violating voters' due process rights.
