Merger talks have fizzled between San Francisco's Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and London's SJ Berwin, according to an email sent to Orrick partners and obtained by the Daily Journal.
Orrick chairman and CEO Ralph Baxter Jr. emailed the partnership late Monday indicating that the "preliminary discussions" with SJ Berwin were off.
