'Criminal Prosecutor' Challenge
Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney Thomas J. Griego's ballot designation as a "criminal prosecutor" was challenged by an opponent--but not soon enough to stop the presses. The longtime civil lawyer, will appear on the ballot as a prosecutor.

LOS ANGELES - A deputy city attorney who identified himself as a "criminal prosecutor" on the ballot in the upcoming judicial election has had the designation challenged, after the Daily Journal revealed he had not yet been assigned to work as a prosecutor when he signed candidacy forms.
