Feds Sought $660,000 From Lawyer-Gunman

LOS ANGELES - Lawyer Gerald V. Scotti, who killed himself and his paralegal in March, was under pressure from federal authorities in Rhode Island to give up nearly $660,000 in cash he was hired to secure for a convicted Colombian drug money launderer, the Daily Journal has learned.
