Justices Seem Troubled by Visit to Crime Scene
LOS ANGELES - State Supreme Court justices appeared Tuesday to side with a lawyer for a convicted murderer who argued that his client's rights were violated when the trial judge let jurors revisit the crime scene during deliberations without the defendant or his trial lawyer present.
