'New California' Florida Loses Top Flaky State Spot to Georgia
Column - By Garry Abrams - Georgia is the new Florida. And Florida, as everyone knows, has been forever stigmatized as the new California. California, of course, was the primordial prototype of a place where degenerates, nuts, wackos, wannabe wackos, freaky zealots peddling dime-store religions, messianic mass murderers, ancestral computer nerds, geeks with high self-esteem and world-class narcissists congregated for the amusement of the rest of the human race, which could rock back on its heels and feel superior because none of them lived there.
