SAN DIEGO - City Attorney Casey Gwinn says he's tired of city-owned fax machines being flooded with junk-fax advertisements and he's not going to take it any more.
Gwinn late Monday filed a lawsuit in San Diego Superior Court alleging violations of federal law to protect consumers against unsolicited advertisements via faxes. The suit seeks $500,000 in civil penalties.
