Butte County Woman Gets Judgeship Early
A Butte County real estate lawyer elected to a Superior Court judgeship in June got a boost into her new job Wednesday when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed her to the position.
The move allows Kristen Andrea Lucena to assume the post immediately instead of waiting until January to take the oath of office.
