LOS ANGELES - The federal prosecutor whose cross-examination of Enron executive Kenneth Lay was described by one observer as "beautifully choreographed," said Tuesday that he is leaving the U.S. Attorney's office to join the partnership of Los Angeles-based law firm Irell & Manella.
