L.A. Dreier Affiliate Says Its Business Is Sound

The former Los Angeles affiliate firm of jailed New York litigator Marc Dreier insisted Thursday that the firm's finances are sound, despite the financial woes described in court filings by other Dreier affiliate firms.

LOS ANGELES - The former Los Angeles affiliate firm of jailed New York litigator Marc Dreier insisted Thursday that the firm's finances are sound, despite the financial woes described in court filings by other Dreier affiliate firms.

No money is missing from client accounts, and the firm is meeting payroll and rent on its spaces in Century City and Santa Monica on time, attorneys there said.
