State Bar cuts annual budget by 6 percent

The agency is making significant cuts to its spending on travel, catering and temporary staff.

MONTEREY - The State Bar's Board of Trustees approved on Monday a 2016 budget that reduces spending by slightly more than 6 percent, with travel, catering and temporary staff the target of significant cutbacks.
