Brown appoints deputy DA to judgeship in San Diego

The appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge William C. Gentry Jr.

Carlsbad attorney Kelly Chong Mok has been appointed to a San Diego County Superior Court judgeship, Gov. Jerry Brown announced Thursday.
