Rail operator sues insurance over collision coverage

Connex Railroad LLC filed suit against its insurance provider, AXA Corporate Solutions Assurance, alleging AXA refused to negotiate with other insurers on how much each would contribute to a $200 million victim compensation fund following the 2008 Metrolink crash in Chatsworth, and for failing to pay for Connex's legal defense fees when those other insurers sued for their money back.
