The former bookkeeper of a Fresno law firm was sentenced Tuesday to 27 months in federal prison for pocketing more than $586,000 in the firm's funds.
Shelley Kimbrell Corkins left Dowling Aaron & Keeler in May 2012 after six years at the practice, where she served as bookkeeper and accounting department supervisor.
