Thomas Jefferson faces extra federal scrutiny of its finances

Thomas Jefferson School of Law has been placed on the federal government's "Heightened Cash Monitoring" list.

SAN DIEGO - Thomas Jefferson School of Law is facing increased scrutiny of its finances from the federal government.

The school was placed on the U.S. Department of Education's updated "Heightened Cash Monitoring" list compiled by its federal student aid office and is only one of three law schools facing such scrutiny.
