A Los Angeles judge dismissed claims against out-of-state doctors and hospitals on Monday for lack of jurisdiction in a whistleblower suit filed by 58 insurance companies accusing doctors, hospitals and executives of knowingly purchasing and implanting cheap counterfeit spinal implants into unsuspecting patients, then billing as if they had used the much more expensive FDA-approved devices.
