Disbarment recommended for bankruptcy lawyer who failed to pay sanctions

A Los Angeles attorney who failed to pay and timely report nearly $90,000 in judicial sanctions has been recommended for disbarment.

A Los Angeles attorney who failed to pay and timely report nearly $90,000 in judicial sanctions levied by bankruptcy courts has been recommended for disbarment.

The State Bar Court's Review Department also determined that Bruce Martin Greenfield should be disbarred for "persistent abuse" of the bankruptcy process.
