Chatsworth Courthouse Going Up

After years of planning, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved funding Tuesday to build a new courthouse in Chatsworth. The board approved a contract for nearly $62.8 million and authorized the county's Public Works Department to sign a contract with The Alexander Haagen Co. for the project, which will be known as the West San Fernando Valley branch of the Los Angeles Municipal Court.
