DCA Justice John Benson, 75
SAN FRANCISCO - Retired Justice John E. Benson of the 1st District Court of Appeal has died following a lingering illness. Benson, 75, served on the 1st DCA for eight years and on the San Francisco Superior Court for 12 years, where he once was rated by the local bar as the best and most hardworking judge in the city.
