Letter to the Editor - William J. Becker Jr.'s article against the effort to legalize same-sex marriage was full of - to use his words - "punishingly strained erudition" but more pointedly was, to use my words, monumentally silly ("Christians Must Remain Strong Against Opposing Tidal Forces," Nov. 26 Daily Journal).
