Budget Likely Avoids Layoffs for Federal Courts
WASHINGTON - Funding allocated to the judiciary in the massive spending bill passed by Congress over the weekend should allow the federal courts to avoid layoffs in 2005, a spokesman for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts said Monday.
