DA Issues Protocol for Abused Kids
LOS ANGELES - Calling it a "significant milestone," Deputy District Attorney William Hodgman Monday released a new set of guidelines to be used by social workers, health practitioners, school officials, police and prosecutors to lessen the trauma to children caught up in abuse and neglect cases.
