Court Grants Hearings For Men on Death Row

LOS ANGELES - The state Supreme Court granted habeas corpus hearings Wednesday to two men on California's death row. Alfredo Valdez of Los Angeles was convicted in 1992 of felony murder in the shooting death of a man he allegedly robbed during a party.
