Agency Not Liable in Man's Death

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court held Monday that a nonprofit agency that oversees group homes in the Los Angeles area cannot be held vicariously liable for a caretaker's negligence at one home that led to the death of a developmentally disabled adult.
