GOP Congress Has Stem-Cell Research Initiative in Its Sites

Daar - The jubilation of disease advocacy groups and underfunded scientists over the passage of Proposition 71, the state's Stem Cell Research and Cures Act, may be short-lived. Once the pumped-up GOP Congress takes the oath in January, stem-cell research is a glaring target for social conservatives anxious to deliver on the "moral issues" that seemed to dominate the presidential election.
