'Good Faith' Partnerships Recognized
In an opinion that attorneys called a significant boon for California domestic partners, a state appeals court Tuesday held that a a couple is entitled to all rights and responsibilities of a legal domestic partnership if they aren't officially registered, as long as they have a "reasonable, good faith" belief that the agreement was valid.
