'Irrepressible' Attorney Had Success in Variety of Roles

Jules D. Barnett, 1916-2008, a longtime fixture in the local legal community as a Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner, mediator, arbitrator and federal prosecutor, has died. He was 91.

      LOS ANGELES - Jules D. Barnett, a longtime fixture in the local legal community as a Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner, mediator, arbitrator and federal prosecutor, has died. He was 91.
