School District Dropped From Trustee's Suit
A school district that was sued by one of its trustees is no longer a defendant in the complaint. A Riverside Superior Court commissioner last week excluded the Jurupa Unified School District from Michael Rodriguez's lawsuit, finding the case constituted an "anti-SLAPP" suit, or Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation.
