Leonard I. Weinglass
Civil rights attorney Leonard I. Weinglass, who mentored a generation of progressive, political lawyers in Los Angeles and around the country died Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES - Civil rights attorney Leonard I. Weinglass, who mentored a generation of progressive, political lawyers in Southern California and around the country and famously represented Daniel Ellsberg in the Pentagon Papers case, died Wednesday evening in New York.
Weinglass was 78. He died of pancreatic cancer, according to Michael Krinsky of Rabinowitz, Boudin, Standard, Krinsky & Lieberman...
