Trailblazing Judge Wins Award

The Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area presented its inaugural Judicial Achievement Award to retired Justice Harry W. Low at its 34th Annual Installation Dinner on March 4 at the New Asia Restaurant in San Francisco. Created to honor trailblazing judges, the award fits Low’s resume as the first Asian American to serve on the San Francisco Municipal Court. He has also been presiding justice of the 1st District Court of Appeal and state insurance commissioner. He is now a member of JAMS.
