Harris appeals foie gras ban

U.S. District Judge Stephen V. Wilson sided with a group of restaurants and foie gras producers who claimed law banning the sale of the product was costing them millions in revenue.

The battle over the legality of California's foie gras ban is headed to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after state Attorney General Kamala Harris elected to challenge a district judge's ruling invalidating the ban.
