Supreme Court approves Boy Scout ban for judges

After a year of consideration and contentious debate, the Supreme Court of California voted to officially bar judges from being adult leaders with the Boy Scouts because of the youth group's anti-gay policies.

SAN FRANCISCO - The state Supreme Court agreed Friday to bar judges from belonging to the Boy Scouts because of its discriminatory policies towards gays.
