In a ruling that could reshape the future of television, U.S. District Judge Dolly M. Gee has found Dish Network LLC did not break copyright law when in 2012 it introduced "The Hopper" - a device that lets subscribers watch commercial free, on-demand prime time TV programming within hours after it airs.
