Helping vets a priority for new president of OC bar

The court, law schools, legal aid groups and others have clinics and special programs for veterans, but they need a place to meet and work together. Ashleigh Aitken believes the bar association is the perfect place for that.

The first thing Ashleigh E. Aitken wants to do as president of the Orange County Bar Association is create a task force to coordinate efforts aimed at helping local military veterans with legal issues.
