9th Circuit had another big False Claims Act year

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has been a significant jurisdiction for False Claims Act enforcement. This continued in the second half of 2014 and was noteworthy for the health care and life sciences sectors, which saw several settlements and nearly two dozen unsealed cases. The procurement/government contracting area remained active as well, notably with two large settlements.
